Call From The God-Marriage of the Virgin

As is known as the Marriage of the Virgin or the Betrothal of the Virgin, the oil painting by Rapheal was commissioned by the Albizzini family for a church in the Citta del Castello. In the early sixteenth-century, thousands of viewers may directly recognize the politics of the image in the painting. Immediately in the middle of the foreground is the refined ring, which the Virgin is receiving from Joseph on the left calmly. This is no common gentleman down on the bended knee. He brings the flowering staffs, which marks him as the chosen one and takes him from those of his rival suitors, who break his staff in consternation. It is said that, the ring of Virgin Mary is the city of Perugia’s sacred relic, which has been stolen and at last retrieved in the years before to the painting of this painting.
