Su Hua was born in Guilin, Guangxi, People's Republic of China in 1963. From an early age Su Hua developed a very keen interest in painting and has focused almost exclusively on tigers and lions. He is currently the director of the Li River Painting and Calligraphy Association in Guangxi, China and a member of the international ATR in Japan. Su Hua's works are currently collected by people in China, Japan and the United States.
