A "Renaissance man" refers to the popularity of a multi-talented person during this era. Unlike the middle ages where a person was expected to complete one specific task, during the Renaissance a people where encouraged and became rather popular if they excelled in many areas of studies, such as Leonardo Da Vinci was excelled in both Art and Science and is extremely well known in both fields of study.
