Where to find how to make a Leonardo Da Vinci costume?

I am looking for a site that would help me make a Leonardo Da Vinci Costume for a middle school student. Maybe one that includes measurements or something. I would really appreciate it.

Or/Also can you give me some suggestions for what material I could use.

The only way to make a costume from a picture is if you know how to "drape" a costume and make a pattern from the draping (a dying art, like blacksmithing).

One of these sites lists pattern books, but your best bet is to check your local fabric shop and look for patterns (McCalls, Simplicity) that are for kids' costumes. Also, after looking at all the period costume plates, you might be able to find some patterns for kids' modern clothes and adapt them if they look any thing like the period plates.

Hope this helps and good luck.

The design department at this store can make a custom costume for you.

They also have a huge selection of ready made pieces available for sale.
