Does anyone know the name of this painting I saw in the Portland Art Museum?

It was rectangular, taller than it was wide, and HUGE - it took up nearly a whole wall! It had a lady sitting on a chair in the middle, and she was very beautiful but looked stressed out and upset. There were babies and children tugging at her clothes and begging for attention but she looked straight you, as if she were pleading for you to help her. It looked like it may have been an interpretation of Mother Earth; it was also in the classic renaissence style. Does anyone know the name of it so I can look it up? It really spoke to me.
