Okay honestly, I grow up in a society that dont really appreciate arts and paintings (by famous painters like rembrandt). We dont learn those in schools and I dont thimk our musuems here have it, partly because we have a different culture.
So anyway, I really admire those paintings and I want to learn about them and also some of the history behind it but the problem is I don't exactly know how.
Im thinking of looking up one painter online for 3 weeks whenever im free and get as much info as possible then scroll through their paintings. Hopefully I will see real ones someday. Is this a good way?
Also when you learn about painters, do you learn EXACTLY everything? Like EVERYTHING? (Eg: who his student was? In what year he set up a studio? In what year he paint 'insert title'?)
Thank you!
