What does Dali's "Woman with a Head of Roses" symbolize?

I've seen a few of Salvador Dali's paintings where there are women who have a cluster of flowers where their heads would normally be. What do these women symbolize, or what has Dali said about them?

"...just because I don't know the meaning of my art, does not mean it has no meaning..." S.D. ● Dalí often replaced the human head with other heads or objects. He disliked the lack of intelligence and excess of perfumes of rich people around the surrealist group. http://www.3d-dali.com/dali_paintings_an...

For Dali a cluster of flowers instead of a womans head was a symbol of feminine beauty. Read description of The Fashion Designer, (also pic is here) http://www.dalinet.com/gallery/DALI/DALI...
