How can I paint my room in a checkerd pattern?

I was wanting my room neon or lime green and so im in my room imagining it and I thought these two walls oppisate og each other should have green and black checkard instead of the whole room being green, but I dont know how I would paint perfect squares

Lots of masking tape. Do one color first, then wait for it to dry to do the other color.

Use painters tape to make the outline of the patern, like ech idividual block, and then paint and fill in what u need to after.
