I know that Vincent van Gogh paintings are impressionists...Jacque-Louis David's paintings are neo-classics and Pablo Picasso's are Abstract(Cubism)...but what category of painting does Rembrandt van Rijn's art fall under?

Your categories are fine although it's true that Picasso still used recognizable objects (you just have to search for them a bit). Rembrandt was a Baroque painter. Northern Europe. Protestant.
