1
Choose a color scheme for the room you'll be holding the event in as well as the training materials. You can tie the colors you want painted on the wall with the color scheme in any booklets you print, PowerPoint slideshows and posters.
2
Choose an event theme. Training events can be very boring and routine, so choosing a fun theme to tie the event together is a fun way to make it more interesting. For example, if the topic of your training event is investment products, you can have a retirement party theme. For the retirement party you could have balloons, retirement brochures, photos of retirement aged people, etc.
3
Design an event poster. Event posters should be colorful, large, descriptive and inviting in nature. An effective event poster will have the name of the training event, bullet points that describe what the attendees will be learning, the date and time of the event and an image that relates to the topic.
4
Set up effective training media. In order to gain your audience's attention, and thus have an effective learning experience, you will need to execute the event properly. You can set up televisions, easels and projectors around the room to be able to teach in a way that reaches everyone in the audience.
