Chinese painting artist: Ouyan Xu

Ou Yang Xu, is a professional painter. He was born in 1958 in Jijiha’er, Hei long jiang province. Now he is a member of Qiqihaer Artists Association, the secretary general of Dongfang Calligraphy and Painting Institute and a special art consultant of Daqing Cheng Calligraphy and Painting Institute.

He loves painting very much since his childhood. When he was young, he won prizes for many times in the art exhibitions held in school or society. On his way to the art, he devoted himself to Gongbi, Xieyi, Birds&flowers, landscape and figure painting. He added the advantages of other artists into his sketch and creation, and took them as his own sources of artistic creation.

In 1997, his Gongbi painting “The Prestige of Tiger” and “The Roaring Tiger” were taken to attend the Huaxia Art Exhibition in Canada by his friends in Autumn.

In Aprial of 2001 and in June of 2002, he was respectively special reported by TV on his painting “Eight Horses” , “Running in the blizzard” and figure painting “The Twelve beauties of Jinling”.

In recent 10 years, many of his artworks were collected by art lovers from United States, the United Kingdom, Japan, Korea and several countries of Southeast Asia.
