Chinese painting artist: Lin Jing

Lin Jing, was born in 1973 in Xianyou, Fujian province. She is a professional painter and a member of China Shenzhou Painting Institute.

She instructed by her father and learned birds&flowers and figure painting in Gongbi style since she was young. Then she learned from Lin Rong and had further education in Fujian Arts and Crafts Academy, specialized in birds&flowers and figures painting.

Her artworks were based on Chinese traditional painting and partly absorbed the technique of expression of the Western Impressionism and Abstractionism. She used her special understanding and ideas on the art as the core and others as the complement, and finally created a batch of figures and birds&flowers paintings which suited both refined and popular tastes.

Her artworks have smooth lines, natural colors and lovely and vivid expressions. Her figure paintings have very novel compositions and were unique, interesting and successfully combined with the national consciousness, some parts of the essence of western paintings, the flavor of the times and her distinctive artistic style. They were well-loved and praised by the broad masses.
