The Sistine Madonna

In the painting, the Madonna comes down from the cloud with her son in hand. On the two sides, there are a man and a woman. The elderly man who shows welcome posture to them is pope, while the young woman in a keeling posture is the believer of Madonna Barbara. With her head down in earnest, she is a little shy, which distributes her esteem and humility. In reality, the model of Madonna is the focus of whole painting. She falls from the sky and appears before us. We may feel she is still at the first sight, but when we fix our eyes on her, it seems that she is walking toward you. Her face is grave and gentle. If we have a scrutiny of her dithered bilabial, it would like that we can hear her wishes.

This famous painting strikes the right balance between beauty and holy, affection and worship. It shows the elegant, harmony and brightness styles, so that it enables people to enjoy the feeling of clearness, pureness and nobility. In addition, The Sistine Madonna of Raphael is well received by everyone. For instance, if some women are said to be like Madonna, and it means that they are praised for their endless beauty. Until now, it is still so in England.
