Accidentally spilled paint on my canvas?

I was working on an art project for school, and then I accidentally spilled some paint on my canvas. The piece is supposed to be with ink, not paint, so I couldn't really try to fit it in with my piece. I was thinking of using white paint to cover it up? Not a lot spilled; it only spilled around the sides and corners of the canvas, but it's still very noticeable. Any suggestions on what I should do? Thanks!

To do this; get a unwanted cup then put 2 tb of salt and 1 tb of vinegar (black) then mix them to get for 2 mins... after the 2 mins of mixing layer it where the paint is and if the mix is not enough just make some more.. once applied everywhere put it next to the heater or some sort of heat but not too close and wait around 1-2 hours... next sparkle some water on where the mix is on the canvas and lastly wipe it with a very soft cloth... i am a art teacher and this genrally works all the time for my students... i hope i helped :)
